Beach and dune area
At walking distance from "Bungalowpark De Gouden Spar" you will find the 13-kilometer long sand beach. Noordwijk is a seaside resort having international style. Take a stroll down the splendid and lively promenade, which is known for its wide variety of restaurants, grand cafes and terraces. With its beautiful beaches and clear sea water, Noordwijk is distinguished with the "blue flag" status, the international recognition for excellent water quality.
Cities
Cities like Delft, Leiden, Schiedam and Gouda have their place in our national history and a visit to any one of them is certainly worthwhile. Stroll through the streets and look at the gable ends. Each city has its own charm: Delft has its Delft Blue porcelain it has been manufactured here for centuries. Leiden, Rembrandt’s place of birth, has wonderful museums, examples are Naturalis and the Rijksmuseum voor Oudheden (National Historic Museum) and Leiden has a large number of shops in the historic city centre. On every Wednesday and Saturday a large general market takes place along the banks of the old river Rhine. The market is existing for more than 900 years! A great diversity of restaurants makes Leiden a truly culinary city.. In Schiedam you will find gin distilleries and windmills The city of Gouda is famous for its candles and its cheese market. In the summer this market opens every week on Thursday mornings.
The fashionable port city of Rotterdam, the stately court city of The Hague and Dordrecht, well known for its city events, should not be missed. Each of them is perfect for a day out With wonderful shops with plenty of surprises you will enjoy the visit. Had enough of shopping? Take a seat in a friendly café, indoors or out.

Flower fields
Our park is surrounded by bulb fields they show abound and beautifull colors. Especially in the Springtime, they leave many a lasting and fragrant memories in the minds of the visitors. The flower-highlight is, of course, the designed gardens of the "Keukenhof" with its myriad of blooms and varieties. On Saturday April 26th the annual Flower Parade will leave Noordwijk to travel its 40-km route, along the main roads, to arrive in Haarlem. The procession will comprise of 20 large floats and more than 30 decorated luxury cars, interspersed with marching bands.
